Weymann Hi End Tenor Banjo,Vine Fingerboard Inlay' Description WOW! you don't see one of these too often. This instrument was just aquired from an estate. It is up there with some of the fanciest banjo's. It is a tenor banjo with fancy pearl inlays in the peghead and the fancy pearl vine on the whole length of the fingerboard. The resonator has fancy inlaid marquetry with an inlaid wood flower pot on the back (not a stencil). There is a 4 piece nickel flange with fancy cutouts. The tail piece is a hi quality waverly. Overall the banjo is nice needing some cleaning ,setup and bringing back too life. The skin head has no tears but is stained. The tuners have been replaced at one time. I do not have a case but it will be packed professionally. There is an archtop to the calfskin head perhaps the tone ring. This is a very cool rare piece for any collector and with some fixin up and setup a real collectors item.
