This is a very cool, and vintage Ludwig electric Vibraphone. Measurs roughly 44" long by 25" wide by 34" tall. It uses a Bodine AC/DC 5000 Rpm 115 Volt motor, model 439281. The only numbers that I can see on the Ludwig itself read Ludwige/Ludwig Tuning Pat. 1632751. Looks to be complete, but does have wear by way of some chipped wood parts, not bad. The motor does work, but it looks like you will need to replace the rubber bands that turn the pipe valves, unsure if there are any other issues...there does not appear to be. As for shipping cost? The quote given on the shipping calculator is a sheer guess, as I have no real idea what it will actually cost. I am saying this simply due to the fact that I have never sent, or shipped an item of this size and configuration before. It does disassemble, and I will have to do so. I will most likely ship it in two or more separate parcels to be safe. I do NOT charge handling, so the cost will be the real shipping cost, and I will also do my best to keep it to a minimum if I can. So again, the shipping quote given on this auction will not be the actual cost. If less, I will refund any and all differences. If more? I would please ask for the difference.
