I ordered this, a 3402 amplifier, and several accessories new in December of 2000. It has been installed in the pictured SKB rack since I brought it home from my local music shop. This QSC PLX 3002 amplifier has been used exclusivley to power a pair of 8 Ohm Yamaha monitors via a heavy guage multi strand Speakon cable. The PLX 3002 produces 550 watts per/channel @ 8 Ohms, 900 watts per/channel @ 4 Ohms, 1500 watts per/channel @ 2 Ohms, and can be bridged for a 4 Ohm rating of 3000 watts. I have used this amplifier approximately 4-5 times per/month for the last 8 years with absolutely no problems or issues what so ever. I don't think that you can find a better, or quieter, ultra dependable powerhouse amplifier.
