This one-of-a-kind instrument has so many exquisite appointments that it's hard to capture them all. It is an all handmade instrument that took 3 years to complete by one of the top Luthiers in the U.S. - David Plummer. Known for his Jerry Reed signature acoustic, this instrument has the same innovative neck to body joint which provide smooth access to the upper frets as well as affording maximum surface contact. It was constructed using a "Master grade" Engelman Spruce top and highly Quilted Maple back and sides. Other premium features include flame Maple binding on the body, neck and headstock. Rare "checker-board" side binding. Ebony fingerboard, bridge, bridge pins and tuning knobs. Very ornately inlayed fingerboard, rosette and headstock using many rare inlay materials.The overall tone and playability is absolutely remarkable! It's rich tone is certainly reminiscent of a Gibson SJ200 with it's Maple neck and Jumbo body shape. It was meticulously cared for, and shows very little sign of wear.
