Description
Up for auction is the BEST of the Best. A PIONEER DJM-800.Paid top dollar for this baby. You will be very satisfied with the condition of the unit, you would call it brand new. Just look at the pictures and you will see this unit is in great condition. This mixer also never left my personal home studio. GOOD LUCK!!!Happy Bidding!!!! Description: The new Pioneer DJM800 mixer, taking digital mixing and effects to a new level. Using the digital circuitry and build of the Club standard DJM1000, Pioneer created the DJM800. With the familiar layout of the classic DJM600, the new DJM800 is easy to navigate, but at first touch, you feel the difference. Improved build quality, faders, knobs and a bright new FL display let you know you are dealing with a different creature here! The new effects unit has most of the effects found on the DJM 600 plus a Reverse Delay, Robot Vocoder and a renamed sampler - Roll which simply put, samples straight beats. The most obvious addition is the 'color' effects section with a separate control on each channel. Under the casing the DJM800 uses the same 96kHz/24bit technology of the DJM1000 with digital in and out. The other key feature of this mixer is that it acts as a MIDI controller, with no less than 61 assignable controls to use your favorite music software! Effects: Extensive dialogue with some of the world’s top DJs and sound engineers provided the catalyst to create new, intuitive techniques to effect the perfect mix, resulting in ‘sound color effects’ - a whole new style of DJ mixing. In music terms, if the DJ adjusts a track in the key of C by +3%, you are no longer in the key of C, and now between C and D. This makes it impossible to perform a perfect harmonic mix, unless harmonic tuning is applied. Harmonic tuning takes whatever key the source audio is in and adjusts the pitch until the key reaches a standard note. World class DJs currently spend hours learning the keys of their music and re-mastering their library to be in ‘perfect pitch’ - this innovation makes it easier to deliver smooth mixes every time. The DIM-800 also offers ‘filter’, ‘sweep’ and ‘crush’ effects through a highpass/lowpass filter, notch filter and bit crusher effect for all line channels. In keeping with Pioneer’s relentless drive for innovation it has complemented its familiar effects with some new techniques for a package that includes: Echo, Delay, Reverse Delay, Pan, Transform, Filter, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb, Robot, Chorus, Roll and Reverse Roll. The effects automatically detect the BPM of the music and sync to the beats. In conjunction with the additional Digital Beat Effects, 50 combinations of effects are possible. Features: -4 Channels -4 Digital Inputs -5 Line Inputs -3 Turntable Inputs -4 Switchable Digital/Line Inputs -4 Fader Start Inputs -3 Band EQ per channel(-26dB to +6dB) -EQ Off/On/Talk-over switch -2 Mic Inputs -2 Band Mic EQ -3 Position Adjustable Channel Fader Curve -3 Position Adjustable Cross Fader Curve -Headphone Monitor auditioning -Stereo Send / Return -RCA & XLR Outputs
