BUY IT NOW! You are bidding on a pair of JBL Model 4648A-8 low frequency loudspeakers, 1200 watts, 8 ohms (serial numbers are 28807 and 28808). Each cabinet contains dual 15" Model 2226HPL low frequency transducers. Check out the website http://www.jblpro.com/pages/pub/cinema/4648a.pdf for a spec sheet. These speakers have been gently used and are in overall very good cosmetic and working condition. There are only a few minor marks on the cabinets (they actually look much better in person than the pictures appear). Please note that one of the cabinets is missing 2 screws from the top. These screws were at one time used to attach a horn to the top. Also, this speaker pair retails for over $2300 new so here is your chance to save a little bit of money! Each cabinet measures approximately 39" x 25 1/2" x 17 3/4", weighing approximately 94 pounds. While I can box these up individually and send them UPS, I would much prefer shipping them on a pallet with a freight company. UPS will handle a box of this weight, but the closer you get to the holidays, the more they tend to just drop heavy boxes off the back of their truck so if you would like these to arrive in one piece, freight is the way to go.
