Description
You are bidding on a 2001, Osborne Chief banjo, #48 in the series. The banjo is in great shape and you can see more of it and hear it on YouTube; just type in the words "Osborne Chief banjo #48," and you can both see and hear this fine instrument (the player lacks a little something, but, oh well...). The banjo is of beautiful maple, the resonator has a sunburst finish, the neck is a speed neck by Frank Neat, metal parts are gold plated (and purty!), the fingerboard is rosewood, spikes on the 7th and 9th frets, frets show little wear and only a few button traces on the resonator. The banjo, though used, is still in very good to excellent condition, depending on your scale. It comes with the Calton case, and if you twist my arm, I'll throw in the Elliot Capo and Chief strap. This banjo has the punch and depth everyone loves and looks for, so check out the YouTube video so see what I mean! These are going for beaucoup bucks these days, so even though this is an auction, I'd consider your best offer (just don't be ridiculous!)
