The body is absolutely straight and shows no signs of any kind of previous distress. No dents or even small nicks. The horn is very solid, substantial. The key action feels positive,  tight, fast and crispy. The pads are new with Selmer plastic resonators. The neck is original, intact.  It is obviously one of those  rare breed necks that allows the horn to be in tune with itself. Hence the power, evenness in response, stable intonation, rich resonant sound and  so force...With instruments like this you do not need to look for special "compensatory" mouthpiece or go through a "break -in time". All your mouthpieces should  sound better with this horn.
