Description
This is a 1959 Gibson Les Paul TV Special, serial number 929376. All the hardware including pickups, tuners, bridge, knobs, and switch tip are fully original, right down to the strap buttons. The wiring has unbroken solder joints, and the original bumble bee capacitors, as seen in the close-up. The neck at the heel was broken many years ago and was professionally repaired and touched up. The touched up area has even partially worn away over the years, as seen in the close-up. The neck depth on this guitar is slightly fatter than found on most 1959’s Les Paul's. It’s almost like a 1958. The neck is perfectly straight, and the original frets show only slight wear. 'Les Paul TV Special' is on the headstock. The guitar has very good color. Overall, this guitar’s finish is in really nice condition, and it really doesn’t show much playing wear, just a few nicks and dings and some light finish checking. The bridge pickup measures 7.74K ohms, and the neck pickup measures 7.51K ohms. If I were looking for a good vintage 'player', this one is it… this vintage L.P. TV Special sounds and plays great... no reasonable offers refused! The guitar weighs a comfortable 7 pounds, 13.2 ounces, and comes in a newer semi-hardshell Guitar Center case. Again... this guitar is a great player, and looks cool with lots of vintage vibe. We offer a 48-hour approval period with money-back guarantee, excluding shipping costs, so feel free to bid with confidence. Choose the 'Buy it Now' option, and we'll pay all shipping and insurance to most countries, including Canada, Europe, Japan, even to Australia, but if Aussies don't choose ‘Buy It Now’, they will have to pay $290 for Fed-X global shipping costs, because the post office will not accept a package this large for Australia that is mailed through normal priority and express mail service. We gladly accept PayPal if you have a good feedback rating. Any buyers with '0' feedback please contact us first, before bidding, or your bid offers may be rejected. Now, make your best offer, and you just might get it!
