It has the very comfortable offset second valve. The valves are more forward for more comfort while playing and it has a great 3rd valve slide trigger assembly. Made of yellow brass, nickel silver and a high copper red brass RE-O-LOY bell that acts as an amplifying chamber allowing for tremendous carrying power. This particular trumpet is a real pleasure to play, open blowing, good centering throughout the range, big full sound from the bottom to the super high register. It is well suited for all types of playing. Everything works beautifully. The valves are fast and smooth with only very slight wear, far from the point of needing replating.  Along with a valve alignment job the corks, felts and springs were replaced. An Olds 3 mouthpiece is included. As you can see in the photos it is beautiful. Re-lacquering was done sometime in the past and it has held up very well. The following minor cosmetic issues can be seen in the photos: Some scratching of the lacquer at the hand hold area of the valve casings. Some lacquer is worn off from the bell tube right after the connection to the 1st valve and a little wear on the 2nd valve slide. There are no dings or dents. The case, although not original, is in good condition. The Recording Trumpets made in Los Angeles are among the finest professional horns ever made. This horn is not just a collectible and something to be looked at. It needs to be played because there is a tremendous amount of great music left in it. It is READY TO PLAY RIGHT NOW!
