Base string is Middle C, two middle strings are C 1 octave above Mid-C, the forth string is G.  However, there is no standard tuning.  It is usually tuned to the vocals it will accompany.there are 3 ways to fix a tampura bridge.The first involves joining the bridge to the soundboard by gluing biscuits in place- that is drill holes in the soundboard and matching holes in the bridge- use a biscuit- or shim of wood to fill the two holes and glue it all together (not recommended unless you really know what you are doing)The second is just to use a few drops of white glue.  The third is to use white glue to fix two strips of sandpaper to the soundboard. then the feet of the bridge rest on the strips of sandpaper and the tension of the strings holds the bridge in place.   Shipping to lower 48 states is via UPS.
