It is hand built by Manfred Schmelzer in Germany. The Model 1 is a .500 bore horn with a 7.75 inch bell.  It blows like a bigger horn than what it is. With the gold plate you are getting a very dark sound but can also manipulate it into a piercing sound to cut through the band. The slide is in great shape.
