The soundboard is a solid spruce.  The sazes are make up of a variety of wood, and there is a language barrier between Turkey and us on what they call there wood and what we call ours.  They also add a tinted finish to the instrument. Replacement string set for the Long Neck Saz.    Avarez brand AS-900, includes eight strings in three envelopes.  Envelope 1: LA has four thin steel strings with .008 inch gage.     Envelope 2: RE has two thin steel strings with .012 inch gage.    Envelope 3: SOL has two silver wound steel strings with .014 and .022 inch gage.  For LA – RE – SOL or ADG tuning. The blemishes on this Saz are packing impressions in the finish and some scuffing on the face.
