This play along CD is a combination of basic rhythms (just the background rhythm and beat) to complete songs played with various tempos and styles. The tracks are of drums, or drums & rattles, guitar, chants, nature sounds, etc. A very nice sounding CD. You play along making up the melody. This is a MUST HAVE CD for beginners and advanced players alike. Some of the tracks are the background rhythms from Looking Wolf's CDs like One Heart One Spirit, Native Blues, A New Day. You play your own melody along with these tracks. It is designed for both the beginner and advanced players. This is a great way to learn and develop your playing. I thought of some new melodies the first time I heard it. 16 tracks playing time 55 minutes. Jan Michael Looking Wolf is one of my favorite performers and is a Grand Ronde Tribal Member and nationally known native flutist, recording artist, performer, and teacher.  He is a three time Best Native Flutist nominee. He is also considered one of the premier Native American flutist of modern times. He has recorded 7 CDs to date with many of his flute melodies being featured on movie tracks and television. He frequently performs at large events throughout the country and instructs native flute history at Oregon State University.     Sound quality of compressed audio files for the internet are a compromise of the actual sound, these sound better from the CD.
