Valve plating is excellent. Bell is engraved with and Indian head and it reads "RMC THE MARTIN INDIANA MADE IN USA".  The original amber lacquer finish is about 60% intact showing average wear and tarnish throughout.  This is your chance to get a really great playing Martin cornet. The cornet has some dents and dings in it, but nothing that hurts it's playability. Spitvalves are working great. Braces are all solid and this cornet is all ready to play. This cornet is very freeblowing with a dark smokey sound. Martin made some really good quality horns in the 1960s.
