No reserve' Description 1957 Martin D-28, D28, Beautiful to look at, more beautiful to play!   No reserve.  Excellent condition.  Beautiful tone, balance, and projection.  Awesome clean sound—no buzzes. Beautifully matched, tight grain, Brazilian rosewood.  Perfect herringbone backstrip, minor wear, no significant dings, scratches, or checkering.  Serial number is 156XXX.   The neck is straight.  The frets show very little wear.  At the 12th fret, the string height is less than that of a nickel and a dime—that is, the fifteen cents do NOT fit between the strings and the fret—more than a nickel, less than fifteen cents.    I am not an expert.  It appears to have had a repair on the top.  I have supplied photos of the repair area.  If so, it is very professional.  The top may have been oversprayed at that time.  Otherwise the top is perfect.   Excellent hard shell case.   No reserve.  I paid substantially more than the buy-it-now price a few years ago.   Please feel free to ask me any questions.      Place a Bid!
