Look at the pics, the tone and playability of this guitar is as good as its looks.  Check out the Brazilian rosewood on this baby. Stunning!!!  Its one of those guitars that when you play it for the first time, you can hear immediately the Brazilian rosewood resonance in its tone. It's very open and has breathtaking overtones that add a real lush character as the notes sustain and sustain.  The shape of the bass is gorgeous, it is deep and round and sustains like a piano. I don't know if its the interestingly figured Brazilian, or this particular piece of incredibly beautiful cedar, or maybe just the planets being in alignment at the most intimate moments of brace tuning...but this thing's got some mojo going on. The action is low and playability is amazing.  Some of the older Lowden necks were a bit chunky for my taste. I've played a great many of these new Lowden's, and the necks are all fabulous. I think Mr. Lowden does the final shaping of them. A few specs: Arguably the F size is the most popular size in the Lowden lineup, some specs are: 1 3/4 @nut, string spacing 2 1/4 , scale length: 25 3/4, upper bout: 11 1/4, lower bout: 15 7/8, depth @heel: 4", depth @tail: 4 3/4. Lowden Hiscox lite-flite case included .
