Great Sitka Spruce top paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides, it is equipped with the great LR Baggs pick up. I bought this guitar new from Buffalo Brothers in San Diego, CA and received it the day after Christmas 2006. It is a custom order with a tight grain sitka spruce top for a more punchy tone and it was ordered with the engraved Larrivee Vintage open back tuners. This guitar has been great, I have done the hard work for you and opened her up (larrivee's take some time and play to open up) It is in almost perfect condition I have played it almost everyday since buying it so the tone has warmed. If you are thinking of buying a new one know you wont here her real voice for at least one year. There is a small ding on the back of the neck the size on a pin head that I can't notice when I play, other than that it is pretty much new. NOW THE IMPORTANT PART: Tone!!... this guitar is the most balanced guitar I have ever played with great volume. You will break a string before you top this guitars voice. It has great sustain, great bass, great mids, great trebble, and great tone... and thats why I am selling her. I play folk music and believe it or not these qualities are not what I want. I want a tubby, punchy, non sustaining guitar that will better mix with my old time playing style. The buyer will pay exact shipping cost, nothing more, nothing less.
