Description We are offering a King 4 valve Bb Euphonium, model 2266, serial #943766, circa 1984, built with pride and true American craftsmanship by the King Corporation, Eastlake, Ohio, USA. Pattern Reads “KING, 2266, U.S.A.” This side action, FOUR valve, bell front euphonium has been totally restored in our Pro Restoration Shop where we have been restoring musical instruments since 1946.    This horn has been totally cleaned and sterilized with all dents and dings removed, lightly polished and clear lacquered for finish protection. All FOUR PISTONS are AIR TIGHT AND SMOOTH! A NEW MOUTHPIPE has also been installed. This horn looks and plays LIKE NEW!!! All tuning slides are smooth and tight. Instrument has been lubricated and is ready to play. There are NO patches or cracks anywhere on this horn! This model 2266 has a bell diameter of 11" and a bore size of .562 and a total length of 32 inches! This American made, “Authentic” Bb Euphonium should NOT be confused with the smaller, poorly made and less expensive imports!   This instrument DOES include deluxe ORIGINAL KING USED case, with all latches, hinges and handle in good condition. Case covering and corners do have cosmetic imperfections due to wear, but well padded case interior and exterior are clean. Interior includes accessory compartment!
