I has a beautiful engraving on the bell (see pictures). It is very clean but I do see some of the silver plating coming off on some of the key which should be visible in the pictures provided. It is marked up near where the mouthpiece attaches Bb with a patent number. It looks like at some time in the past it was re-padded but the pads don't look to be right for this clarinet as the movement of the keys is restricted to VERY LITTLE. I am not a woodwind instrument player so I can not play test or evaluate its playability butt I think I know enough to say I don't think these pads are right. It was found in what appears to be the original hard case but the handle is missing and a small piece of the lid is gone. Otherwise it is in good usable condition. Inside the case was the silver plated mouthpiece adaptor, a music lyre, the mouthpiece, and a couple of reeds. The clarinet is very straight and I see no dents or dings. What you see is what you get.
