Although it is a non-compensating model it does offer the Student an introduction to the fourth valve and it's benefits without the price tag generally attached to fully compensating models. Combined with Jupiter's excellent build quality this instrument is a good choice for the advancing student. This Euphonium was used for one year by a high school student and is in excellent condition. The instrument has no dents or dings and has only minor surface scratches in high use areas such as at the hand grips and where the instrument would rest on the knees.
