John's 5-string violins are in such demand that he has a waiting list.  He is able to work a few of these revoiced violins into his schedule while focusing on building the 5-strings.   This violin is an incredible value, you are getting the "Silakowski sound" for a fraction of the cost of his bench made violins. Why am I selling this violin?  I have a few of these revoiced violins that I recieved as part of a trade with John.  I plan to keep a couple and sell a couple.
