Jeff Traugott Guitars, 1997 Traugott BK, Made For William Coulter: I remember seeing William Coulter playing this Traugott on stage the first time and being mesmerized but the extraordinary clarity and beauty of the tone of this Traugott BK. William recorded numerous albums with it including Celtic Sessions, The Crooked Road and Song for our Ancestors. Jeff Traugott crafted this stunning instrument for William using premium figured Koa and his trademark German Spruce top which he voiced to perfection. After years in the hands of a master player like William, this guitar is extremely alive and responsive. It has amazing clarity and articulation and a wonderful history that makes it a very special Traugott guitar. William Coulter traveled the world with this guitar and used it on his CDs. Check out the Calton Case." - Al Petteway "This is a rare treat, not only a wonderful sounding Traugott BK, but one owned by recording artist William Coulter and featured on many important Celtic guitar recordings. Many of you will recognize this guitar from CD artwork or magazine articles on William Coulter. It's been a part of a lot of great music and as a result is one of the most lively and responsive Traugott guitars we've seen. It's crafted from the highest quality Koa and topped with German Spruce for a voice that is articulate and rich with beautiful shimmer on top. The treble strings really sing and spotlight the melody notes while the BK bass is round and supportive. Here's a wonderful opportunity to own an historic Jeff Traugott guitar." - Paul Heumiller Price:$19,995 Figured Koa Rosette Figured Koa Headplate Gold Schaller Tuners with Ebony Buttons Carved Ebony Bridge The Case Documents This Guitars Travels As William Coulter's Main Axe For Years Calton's are the most roadworthy cases Click on any image to view close ups View A Movie Of This Guitar This Traugott BK Was Made For William Coulter Featured on numerous recordings including Celtic Sessions, The Crooked Road and Song for our Ancestors Traugott BK Cutaway This Very Guitar Featured On 'Celtic Sessions' The Traugott BK Shape Inspired The Artwork On 'The Crooked Road' The Highest Quality Koa German Spruce Top with Natural Patina Stunning Grain Ebony Heelcap and Binding Questions about the item: We strive to describe all items accurately and we provide pictures, audio and video in an effort to assist you in you purchase decision.
