Description  Well everybody this is as rare as it gets for a mic like this, i got it looked at by Steven Sanks and he said he had never seen one of these before and asked to take pictures for his museum archive and he cleaned it all up and made it sound even alittle better.It is in brand new condition, as it looks new other then the little chip. This mic was made between 1945 and 1955 as far as i know and was made under direction from RCA/Victor back in the day, and was done by JVC in Japan. As far as I know it is exactly the same but does sound alittle brighter then my other ribbons and still very very warm. I like it better then all my other ribbons, but I need some big bucks, so this mic is gonna fetch me more dollars. It is Mint, no noticeable damage, very minor minor chip on the edge, but hard to see. I am not to sure how many of these are around and if anybody has anything they can add, Cool, but I only know one other guy that had seen one of these and that was the guy I bought it off. Very Very Rare. Yes I want big bucks for it. I have been around the block and have never seen one of these and Sanks himself who does ribbons for a living, has never seen one before so they gotta be rare, as there is 100 and 100's of the DX-77's so, I hope it fetches lots and i am not gonna give it away. It has 5 postion bottom switch for vocals and music, and bi,uni,non directional settings on the top by the ribbon, just like 77's. Place a Bid!
