Hammy's flutes are based on a Pratten model and have the power and bark sought after by serious session players.His instruments are played by professionals too numerous to count and with good reason. HIs workmanship is excellent as is his customer service. This flute is made of African Blackwood and silver. It is a six-keyed, fully chromatic Irish flute. It is in excellent condition with absolutely no cracks, chips or issues of any kind. The pads are getting some age and will benefit from a change before long but the flute is otherwise in like-new condition. There are key blocks in place for the later addition of low C and C# keys should the buyer ever choose to make this an 8-key flute. Hammy's waiting list for such a flute would be years and the new price would be about $3895 US (2875 Euro). This is a rare oppurtunity to get a 6-key Hammy immediately.
