It's a Limited Edition Golden Melody Harmonica in the key of C (cross-harp/second position G) and was produced by Hohner in 1982 for their 125th Anniversary. My Grandfather bought several of them at the Detroit, MI SPAH convention that same year and gave many away as gifts. There is an original note-card inside the case which reads: "It all began 125 years ago. In 1857, Matthias Hohner laid the foundation for the formation of M. Hohner AG and by 1860 the name "'Hohner'" was known worldwide. Harmonicas today are loved and played by millions of amateurs and professionals of all ages. This special limited edition 125th anniversary model is to commemomorate the joy of music the harmonica brings to all our friends, old and new." It comes in the original black plastic case with red velvet lining and has a Hohner 125 year’s logo on the top of the case. The harmonica itself is made in Germany, gold in color with 125th ANNIVERSARY in red. It has a black plastic comb (the typical Golden Melody has a maroon plastic comb) the faceplate is riveted, instead of screwed on like other Golden Melodies. I will be listing 3 of these separately. They have never been played, are all identical and are in excellent, like new condition.
