While this flute is a collector's item, it is in wonderful condition, and was overhauled with the player in mind. This is a tremendous deal given the content and playability of this flute. If you were to purchase a new wooden flute in today's market, and wanted one of high quality and brand reputation, you would pay between $8000 and $14,000. Makers include Yamaha, Chris Able, and Powell. You probably would also have a long waiting period. No need to pay a fortune, or wait.  You may purchase this lovely flute, priced to sell.   Appropriate For This flute would be a wonderful instrument for a more mature player.   I would not recommend for a younger band student. It would make fine instrument for classical, jazz and / or Latin.   Condition  This flute is pristine condition, and looks and plays beautifully.  The overhaul was one of the best I have seen in a long time. Please note that wooden flutes, and flutes that have been overhauled, most likely will require some amount of tweaking as the pads settle in.  I have found this true even for brand new wooden flutes.  Please plan on taking this to your technician for adjustments, as the price does not include follow up adjustments.   Shipping / Handling / Insurance WE SHIP EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD !!!
