Thanks for your consideration.Up for sale is a Ricky Skaggs Signature Model F5 distressed master model. These are patterned after the coveted Lloyd Loars of the 20s. Since a handful of original Loars were side bound, Gibson has followed suit with Ricky's endorsed model. This one has the side binding instead of the traditional top binding. I've added a close-up picture of the binding for comparison. The label is officially signed by Ricky and comes with a customized soft-cover carrying case with the model number on it. The original Tone Gard (fastens to back of mandolin) is not shown here in the pictures but included.Again, I am selling this mandolin only because I purchased two of them and need to let one of them go. This side bound model should be even more attractive as a collect-able. As with all Gibson distressed master models, this mandolin is fantastic sounding. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
