Before these trumpets are shipped, Flip gives them a digital valve alignment and applies his own Enhancement Process, otherwise known as "tuning the horn in"!  The lacquer models sell for $2,875 and you won't find them discounted.  We've also never seen a gently-used one for sale either so this is your opportunity to save $$ and get one fantastic horn! This one has the #3 tuning slide with it.  The #3 is (larger) .464 bore top leg of the tuning slide, .464 bore in the tuning slide bow, .470 bore bottom leg of the tuning slide that enters the horn. This Slide gets a more Brilliant or 'Glorious' sound for Orchestral or Symphonic playing. This horn was acquired from a well-known jazz and orchestra leader who also plays a Wild Thing.  He used this only a very few times and preferred his Wild Thing for the type of playing he does.  He purchased it new and took exceptional care of it.  The horn is in near mint condition with only one small ping that we could find ( pictured below ).  We had this one play-tested recently by a local pro and he said that this is one great all-around horn and will do the job no matter what the venue!
