Description Fine Vintage H R Pfretzschner Viola Bow - Serviced : This is a fine old Octagonal Permobucco bow, stamped with the H R Pfretzschner stamp and the Saxonian king's coat of arms. It came to me with an extra nice older 4/4 I sold last Christmas. I have just had it serviced by IMS in Sherwood ( George cleaned, rehaired, replaced the leather and polished it ) and mentioned that it is a “special” bow with a very nice touch. He sees hundreds of better bows including many of mine and rarely comments on one ) It is in remarkable condition ( He was able to retain the original silver wrap ) and has never been damaged. It weighs 67 grams and is 29 1/8” long. It has an ever so slight cant to the right. There is of course no reserve, and as with all of our fine instruments, we offer a full 7 day trial period to assure proper match of player and instrument.
