Notice that all the screws are regular slot, not philips head. The Bakelite Blackguard has no cracks. The guitar is really awesome and looks great. The electronics are correct...the wiring was changed to later spec, then put back to original 1952 spec. The neck reads 8-11-52   TG (Tadeo Gomez-famous early Fender plant worker) and the body reads 8-8-52 Eddie...light overspray on head...back of neck polished...Ah, the summer of 1952...the Golden Age of Guitars when Leo and Les were busy inventing the classic electric guitars we so enjoy today...check the pictures and marvel at the fine condition of this cool vintage guitar.
