Description
I was holding this one back, it's the best of the bunch that I had for sale. I even considered keeping this one. This one is actually "Sonic Blue". It has a very, very little finish yellowing in the cutaway area. It's barely noticeable. All the others that I sold the finish looked like sea foam green because of the finish yellowing. If you were wanting one of these, this is your last chance to buy one from me, I've sold all he others and I saved the best for last! This is a nice Super Rare Reissue Fender Mandocaster 4 String Electric Mandolin. Fender issued a very limited number of these cute little Mandocaster Reissues. They were made for the European market. They were listed under the model numbers SB-4 & FM-984. They were made in late 2001 & early 2002. These were rejected because the Sonic Blue finish yellowed. This made these mandolins look like "Sea Foam Green". They were stored in a warehouse until the end of 2007. At that time the refurbishing center were I get my instruments bought the remaining stock and sold them to their dealers here in the U.S. They still has the protective plastic covering on the pickguard! As far as I know there is only about 40-50 of these that were available here in the U.S. This ad is for the 4 string version. I bought the remaining stock from my supplier. ( I obtained 11 of the 4 string versions & sold 10, this is the very last one that I have.) I've sold 10, so I'm very firm on the price. This is the very last one! Once this one is gone all that I have is gone! We sell quality discount instruments. We obtain our instruments from a authorized reconditioning center. They have been sent to the reconditioning center for any of any number of reasons, mostly because of small finish flaws. The instrument flaw is repaired, or is so small that it is left alone. Our instruments have no structural issues and play well. The manufacture's serial number is removed by the reconditioning company and replaced with their own serial number. Then the word "USED" is stamped on the back of the headstock. These steps are taken by the reconditioning center at the request of the original manufacturer to prevent the filing of improper warranty claims. PAYMENT POLICY: Immediate payment is required by PayPal. SHIPPING POLICY: We ship all instruments within 2 business days from receipt of payment. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Every instrument is fully insured, we don't charge extra for insurance, that is included in the shipping price. Our policy is to inspect, pack and ship every instrument professionally. We want you to have 100% positive buying experience! Worry Free Return Policy: You can return the instrument for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER! What this means is that if for any reason you are not satisfied, email us within 48 hours of receipt of the instrument. We will refund your orginal purchase price paid, (buyer pays all shipping cost involved), providing you repack the instrument with the same materials that it came in and ship it back UPS Ground Insured. The instrument must be returned in the same condition that it was received in. This way all you will have to do is repack it the way it was and ship it back within 3 business days for a refund! We have worked hard for our excellent feedback rating and want our customers to be 100% satisfied. This gives you 2 full days to make your decision, we want you to be happy with your purchase!
