We Tele lovers also love our Esquires. But they all got bought up and put away and no-one takes them out anymore. Well, here's a nice one. Light (7 1/4 lbs) and twangy. Neck is a nice B width made in September 1966. The frets are a medium width and with good height. The guitar plays all the way up with no choke. Possibly a re-fret, but it's so good I can't tell if it is or isn't. The neck profile is moderate, not too thin, but not chunky either. Pots date 31st week 66. No extra holes anywhere. Tuners original and no extra holes there either. No holes in the neck pickup cavity, so it's never been Tele'd. Original pickup is loud and can cut like a knife, or sing like a songbird. The action is so low, and is real lively. This thing practically plays itself, you just barely tickle it and she gets right up and goes. Check my feedback for asurance of your satisfaction.
