Description
* Exquisite 'Cannon' Guarnerius Violin - 1742 * 10-Day Free Trial Period. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Email: fineviolins@comcast.net This immaculate instrument is made after the famous " Cannon" violin by Giuseppe Guarnerius del Gesu from 1742. The genuine Guarnerius violin was the favorite instrument of Niccolo Paganini, one of the greatest violin virtuosi of all times. Paganini named the violin "Il Cannone" (the Cannon) for its prodigious sound. This violin is hand-crafted by Petko Stoinov, one of the finest luthiers in Europe today. Stoinov uses classic Italian methods of construction, and well-seasoned select European spruce and maple tone wood from the Balkans. The back and the sides of this violin are carved from a special single slub-cut piece of superb European maple wood that displays an amazing flame pattern. The instrument features impeccable workmanship in every detail. It is finished with premium-quality pine-resin oil varnish skillfully brushed over a special coat of mineral ground following the method of David Rubio from England. Rubio has developed this advanced varnishing technique after many years of studying the genuine violins of Giuseppe Guarneri and Antonio Stradivari. The finish of this violin features a gorgeous warm golden-redish color of great transparency and remarcable optical depth. Master Guarnerius Violin by Petko Stoinov The sound of this violin is as captivating as its look! The warm, rich, and powerful tone features remarkable projection and carrying power. Acoustically, this instrument successfully rivals $12,000 modern Italian violins! It is excellent for solo performances presenting a perfect choice for any professional musician. The violin comes equipped with beautiful hand-carved rosewood fittings and new Evah Pirazzi strings. The unstrument is branded on the inside and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the maker (see photos below)! We offer a 10-day free trial period (see details below).
