Description
* Master Guarnerius Violin - 1741 Model* 10-Day Free Trial Period. Satisfaction Guaranteed! Email: fineviolins@comcast.net This one-of-a-kind instrument is made after the famous "Kochanski" violin by Giuseppe Guarnerius del Gesu  from 1741. The genuine Guarnerius violin is named after the Polish concert violinist Paul Kochanski, who owned and played the instrument from 1924 until his death. This violin is hand-crafted by Angela Moneff, one of the finest female luthiers in Eastern Europe. Moneff uses classic Italian methods of construction, and select European spruce and maple tone wood from the Balkans. The instrument features flawless workmanship in every detail. It is finished with a premium-quality pine-resin oil varnish skillfully brushed over a special coat of mineral ground following the method of David Rubio from England.  Rubio has developed this advanced varnishing technique after many years of studying the genuine violins of Giuseppe Guarneri and Antonio Stradivari. The finish of this violin features a  gorgeous warm golden-redish color of  great transparency and optical depth.  Tonally, this violin features wonderful warmth, richness, clarity, and power with remarkably quick response on all strings. Hence, it is an excellent choice for professional musicians. The instrument comes equipped with beautiful hand-carved rosewood fittings and Evah Pirazzi strings.  It is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the maker (see pictures below)!
