In addition, it can read and write SMPTE as LTC and VITC. The Unitor8 can also easily read LTC from 1/4 to 4x normal speed. With VITC synchronization, Logic will support freeze-frame and reverse playback. In contrast to the earlier model, the Unitor8 MkII can now be connected via a USB port. The existing connections via RS-232 and RS-422 remain unchanged but the Mac Thru connector has been eliminated to make room for the addition of a USB connection.
