Description
This is a Conn Director tenor trombone w/ a coprion bell. Its a seamless pure copper bell from what I've read. Serial number 725,XXX dates it in the late 50's. Trombone has some cosmetic issues, but is playable. Both slides move freely and smoothly. It appears to have had some dents removed on the crook of the tuning slide. There's also some "rash" (scratches and small pings) on one side of the bell...I showed a decent pic of it. Probably caused from the slide not being secured while inside the case! Has some lacquer wear where your neck would make contact w/ the horn-and couple other spots. The slide works smooth (playable), but does have some plating wear on the stockings. You can see them in the picture. (The tips and a small part of one stocking.) The case is original and pretty beat up...Includes Conn mouthpiece. Pretty distinct horn!! Thanks for looking and please ask questions. Shipping $25, domestic lower 48----very carefully packed!
