This exquisite violin is dated with an original label, dated 1769. It was previously repaired in 1899 by violin repairer Richard Brueckner, based in London, whose inscription of this repair is recorded in handscript within the violin. The instrument was last appraised by a top violin expert at 120,000 Euros, and was recently completely reconstructed by a violin restorer in Mainz - Germany, (at the cost of 5,000 Euros).
