"22B" is stamped on the under part of the receiver. "CG CONN LTD USA ELKHART IND." is engraved on the bell. Check out the CONN LOYALIST site for detailed information on these great horns. This one is a very good player as these trumpets were marketed to the top professional players for many years and many are still in use today. Most of the lacquer has worn away, but it has a nice raw brass patina over much of its surface. Nothing is stuck, and the bottom sprung valves have a nice light, fast action. There is no rot, and no dents, but you can see where the main tuning slide has had dents taken out. The bore is medium small .438" which really helps one's endurance and the upper register is easier to attain, yet the dimensions are so well designed that these horns can project and blend with most any other trumpet.
