This vintage Bergerault Concert 2.5 Octave Glockenspiel is fully equipped with a damper mechanism, and its original case, which is in very good condition. I'm unsure of the year it was made. This instrument is in great shape for its age and sounds wonderful. It would cost over $3000 new for another 2.5-octave Bergerault glock with damper stand, and the older ones sound better anyway (higher carbon content steel). The only cosmetic flaws are a few small spots of tarnish on the bars, which are all in tune. This does not affect the sound at all.I am only selling this because I have a 3-octave Deagan Roundtop/Parsifal set with a damper system. While these sound just as good (in my opinion), the set is is only 2.6-octaves, while the Deagan goes down to low C, so I am selling this one due to its slightly smaller range.  (No, the Deagans are not for sale.)Shipping is $95 (this instrument is HEAVY).
