Art – case piano. Victorian style. The piano has been completely restored in 2007 with new: pinblock, new Roslau strings, nickel tuning pins. The entire action assembly was replaced with a brand new German Renner Action: whippens, hammers, felts. The dampers and felts were all replaced with new components. The instrument comes with a Steinway bench and original ivory of superb quality. The action has been completely regulated and voiced and it is in concert ready condition. The sound is typical for this size Bechstein:  rich, with 'bell-like' in tone, striking forte, easy to play, unlike a lot of Steinways Model B. A pleasant action, unmistakably sensitive, with astonishing sound resonance. The instrument has been used by pianists of international reputation for their solo recitals as fund-raisor for local non-profit organization.
