It retains it's original label inside and reads as follows:  Erush Heinrich Roth  E131 MARKNEUKIRCHEN 1931                                  Reproduction of Josef Guarinerius                                   Cremona 1732  The violin was evaluated by a very well known violin maker in Claremont, Ca by the name of  J. Brown. He looks at appx. 10-15 violins per day and he said that this violin was very well made and much better than most of the violin's that he sees. He felt that the appraised value was between $ 3,000.00- $4,500.00. It does need to be restrung but there aren't any cracks or repairs and he did feel it would have wonderful tone when restrung. The case is decent with the green velvet intact inside. The violin measures appx. 24 inches in length. Thank you for viewing.
