This is a Slingerland Radio King snare drum in white marine pearl finish. I believe this deep drum is the Gene Krupa model from the 1950's. It has the 3 point clamshell design snare strainer. Like most Radio Kings it is missing its snare strainer handle. That is easily replaced by contacting several vintage drum stores that sell re-issued replacement parts. I can help you to find these companies! The oval badge says SLINGERLAND QUALITY DRUMS CHICAGO, ILL. This wood drum measures 14 inches in circumference and is 7 inches in depth. The batter hoop is stamped with the words "SLINGERLAND RADIO KING". The drum heads are not original...they are both in playable condition. It has its original double batter muffler. The snare strainer says PEARL. This beautiful drum is in excellent condition...however,the white marine pearl has yellowed over time. This drum comes with a vintage fibre snare drum case with handle.
