Description  Up for auction is this antique Aristocrat tenor sax in Bb by Buescher, c. 1939 (#285,xxx). Great condition for its 70 years: No cracks, patches, ugly solder repairs, or damaged keys. Original lacquer about 30%, beautiful sharp engraving, full Norton gold springs. The sax has just been re-padded with Feree leather pads with the original 'snap in' metal resonators. Purchased from the original 84 year old owner, who played in local big bands for 50 years! Comes with original neck, Buescher mouthpiece, and hard shell case. Beautiful dark "vintage" sound, good intonation, free blowing, and an excellent choice for church, jazz, or something harder!    I am a band instrument tech working out of a music store in Central VA and have restored many vintage instruments for sale on ebay.
