Amek Mozart RN Console Amek Mozart RN Console - 40 Rupert Neve designed channels CGR Nashville is down-sizing and selling the centerpiece Amek Mozart RN Console. This console is in a 56 channel frame. It is loaded with 40 RN channels. These were designed by Rupert Neve and the are fully inline with big and small fader. This console has 100+ inputs on mixdown! The pre's and EQ's sound amazing! The routing potentials are amazing as well! The console also has 2 stereo channels with line or mic pre input, and 4 return modules with 4 returns per (16 returns). Each channels has 16 (yes SIXTEEN) aux sends. 4 Stereo and 8 mono! It has a full TT patcbay with amazing access to every point on the console. I had some custom TT panels made to add 192 MORE points for outboard gear (it already as 144 points stock). It comes with Supertrue Automation that runs on PC (the later version). When I bought this console, it needed some pretty serious TLC. So... I have spent around $22,000 in refurbishment on it. It has been almost completely re-capped, and completely refurbished from the ground up partially by Dave Rochester (former lead technician at Amek), and Creation Audio Labs (console restoration specialists). This console is PREEMO. Cleaned, gone through to the nth degree... and in great shape! It has a custom made fan to keep it running nice and cool and cut down on maintenance needs (the fan is near silent). The console has 4 power supplies! 3 for the console, and 1 for the automation system. There is about 30 feet of cable to get from the power supplies to the console (the PSU's are loud and do put off some heat). The power supplies are currently configured to run at 240 because the whole console runs cooler and uses less power this way, but I can easily have that changed back to 120 for you if you require it at no additional cost. I have recorded a lot or projects on this Console. Kathy Mattea's latest CD, "Coal" was mixed on this console. It really sounds amazing. A nice blend between and SSL-ish and Neve-ish sounding console. The automation is a joy to use when you mix. Every single VCA can be switched in/out individually or all together with the use of the VERY clever grouping computer. You can switch mutes, solos, eq's... store console configurations, etc. It's really great for making the common changes you make in your work quickly for the whole console. I am including a LOT of Mogami snakes with Elco on one end, and bare on the other for you to wire in what you need. The snakes vary in length but none are less than 30 feet. The console is currently up and running here in Nashville, TN. You are welcome to come check it out. The cost of decommissioning, shipping, and re-commissioning will be up to you. I will however help with de-commissioning and if you don't have someone in mind I can recommend a great shipper... or even do this myself for an extra fee. I transported it myself across country when I bought it. I will consider selling internationally, but only after good communication with you.
