Description
- - - Alvarez DY91C Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar - - - FREE Hardshell Case Included! Featuring Hawaiian Koa back and sides and solid spruce top, the DY91C is beautiful to look at and to play. With Abalone inlays along the ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Ivory/Abalone binding. System 600T MKII electronics included. This guitar has never been played! It is lightly stamped "used" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the guitar is either an overstock that the factory had to move at below-wholesale prices or it contains a minor blemish. Either way, it is a completely playable instrument, with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This guitar has absolutely no blemish except for a headstock repair by a professional luthier just outside of Nashville, TN. I have included close-up photos of the headstock in which you can see the crack that was repaired at either edge of the headstock near each E tuner. I cannot see the crack through the middle of the headstock face or on the back of the headstock. There are a few tiny white specks in the finish on the face of the headstock that must have gotten into the lacquer when the new coat was applied on the headstock after the repair. Otherwise, this guitar is in absolutely perfect condition! This guitar has a straight, true neck. The action is low and fast without a single buzz, just the way it should be! The tone is very rich and balanced and projects well thanks to the solid spruce top and koa back and sides.
