That's right, some of the more recent high end Alvarez guitars are made by other builders. The quality is evry bit as good as Yairi too. This was stamped, "Almost Perfect" on the soundhole label, denoting it as a second. It is not covered by a factory warranty but it does not come with the pictured Alvarez FC-1 case for FREE. The case alone costs almost $100.00. This guitar had a puncture and a few cracks on the treble side. They were reglued, cleated, and touched up. The damage is noticable on inspection, but at a glance not bad at all. There are also a few light scratches on the back, but nothing that wouldn't buff out. The neck is straight, the frets aren't worn, and the guitar is immaculate and damage free. Remember, this guitar is made from all solid tone woods. There is not one piece of laminated wood on this one! It sounds awesome, and the action is low and buzz free too.
