Description
Relisting due to a non-performing bidder!   Allen Church Organ, 305-B, two-manuals and pedal, serial #48524 (from the mid 1980's), 300 watts, has the adjustable combination, transposer, divided expression, card reader with a bench and pedalboard.  Needs speakers (no internal speakers).  Was wired for headphones.  The Organ originally spoke through the auditorium's sound system.   Working condition.  Console cabinet fair.  Has a few small dings from having been moved Will put out a powerful sound!  North American sale only-- to the lower 48 states.   Music desk is wrapped and placed inside the back of the console for protection.    This is a straightup auction without any reserves or buy backs.  I will not be attempting to influence the final price through the use of "ghost bidders".  High bid gets it irregardless of the price.  If you are located in or near Ohio, there is the possibility of a delivery (to your driveway) for a price which will depend on the distance involved (Minimum of $200.00 plus $1.00 per loaded mile).  I have the proper equipment for a move.   For example, I would charge $300.00 for delivery to a driveway located 100 miles from Oberlin, Ohio. ( I can offer assistance to your friends for placing the organ in your house from your driveway).  North American sale only (lower 48 states).  Free and clear title is guaranteed.  Sale is with neither express nor implied warranty; however, the organ is in acceptable condition.  If you have an unclear bidding record, please ask me before bidding!  This means that "0" auctions to your credit (in your feedback) is an automatic disqualification from bidding!  If the high bidder is a "0" feedback bidder, it will have been because I approved of their bid after discussing it with them.  (My most recent sale was to a bidder new to Ebay).  You MUST contact me if you have "0" or negative feedbacks!   I can discuss the organ with you (440) 506-2815.  I live 7 miles from Internet access (in town).  If you wish to see what the Allen line looks like, there are a number of other auctions with pictures or check the Allen site.  Cash, bank draft, United State Postal (or commercial) money order, or other bearer instrument.  If you are nervous, an online escrow service can also be used (full payment only after complete satisfaction).  Payment in full (or escrow) is required before pickup or delivery.   What you can expect from most Allen organs is a consistent action response--that feels good to the touch.  The sound is also consistent-- but consistently electronic. For this reason, this organ would be classified by a musician as either a rehearsal organ or a house organ for a student.  This 305-B originally sold for about $35K in the mid 1980's.  The present value of this organ is somewhere about 8% of this figure; nevertheless, I will accept whatever is bid.  Full payment is required within 7 days after the auction has concluded. The deadline for pickup and/or delivery of the organ is 10 December, 2008.  I have an excellent feedback record and the details as represented here are reliably true.  You will be satisfied!  This is one of the more modern Allens and the results of your rehearsal work can quite easily be transferred to your pipe organ at the church.  A good house organ is a must for any organist living in the colder northern climates!  NO PAYPAL!  If you don't want this organ, please do not bid!Swell:  8' Salizional8' Voix Celeste8' Gemshorn8' Gedeckt4' Spitz Prinzipal4' Koppel Flote2 2/3' Nazard2' Blockflote1 3/5' Tierce1' SiffloteIII Mixtur16' Contra Fagotto8' Hautbois8' Trompette4' ClarionAlterable 1Alterable 2DelayPercussionTremulantGreat:16' Quintaton8' Prinzipal8' Dulciana3' Dulciana Celeste8' Hohlflote8' Flute Dolce4' Octave4' Spitzflote2 2/3' Quinte2' Doublette2' WaldfloteIV Mixtur8' English HornAlterable 3Alterable 4DelayPercussionBlankTremulantSwell to GreatChiffRandom Motion OffSpeech Articulation OffBlankPedal:Blank16' Diapason16' Violone16' Bourdon16' Lieblich Gedeckt8' Octave8' Gedeckt Flote4' Choral Bass4' Flute OuverteII Mixtur16' Bombarde8' TrompetteGreat to PedalSwell to Pedal(On Lower right key check)Alterable VoicesMemory "A", "B"Left sideSustainTransposerOn Dec-08-08 at 11:58:15 PST, seller added the following information:The previously failed attempt to sell this organ appears to have failed as a result of the buyer's failure to secure his wife's permission to place the organ in his house.  (At least this was the reason advanced by the buyer during a telephone conversation on 27 November, 2008).  With the amount of activity that I have successfully engaged in on Ebay, it is perhaps inevitable that eventually a deal is going to go awry.  I finally did agree to accept a Paypal payment for the sale price of the organ (with the delivery sum to be presented in a non-electronic manner); however, this accommodation was rejected by the buyer.  These offers were made for a sale price considerably below the organ's wholesale value.  On Dec-08-08 at 12:07:38 PST, seller added the following information:The deadline for pickup and/or delivery of this organ is extended  until some mutually acceptable time during the holiday season.
