The body and neck of the bass is Maple with Purple Heart laminates with a neck-through construction, Ebony fingerboard, Chrome Gotoh tuners and hardware. There is very little wear on the bass, Other than that this bass kicks as one would expect No-less from Alembic,  and  is in excellent condition. For people who play on dark stages, having side LEDs (Red) are just cool. The LEDs are mounted on a thin strip of ebony that we inlay under the tangs of the frets after the bass is fretted. It's has a separate 4-battery compartment on the back of the instrument. Power for the output of the bass is still from the standard 9V battery and completely independent from the LEDs, so if you let the LED batteries run down, you won’t lose the signal from the bass.LEDs come with an on/off switch near the output jack.New Strings, new batteries included.
