Description
I am the original owner. Premium woods from the Fleta shop Spain and put together by Mihail Lipe. A professional flamenco guitar and Master luthier used to make and complete two guitars per year back then till his passing in 1971. This is the number 48. There is another classical guitar made by the Luthier in Rosewood that I am aware of and was completed same year that I took delivery and was purchased by Armenian classical player who was leaving for USA To my best knowledge he was stationed in Los Angeles. This instrument is a musium quality truly master piece highest detailed of craftmenship. Refer to the picture of the sound hole no trace of glue the inner construction of this guitar is a good as the outer. The fingerboard is african ebony and was salvaged from old church door. Believed to be several hundred years old. The sound board air dried more than half century the very best European spruce very tight grain. (from Alps) The saddle and the nut solid bone The bridge Brazilian rosewood the sides and the back book matched sycamoor some said is Cypress. (I think is not) Played professionally from 1968-71 and admired since. Has all ebony purfing top and bottom as well between the back sides in the middle. There are several minor cracks developed over the years regardless kept in humidity controled envirment. Stored in high end arched TKL case. (The original case recently completly re-done by Cedar Creek Custom cases in VA) Buyers option.The strings I used nylon Savara made in France the frets are silver and few are moved but none of them are worn again during climate changes and the very cold winter in NYC. did it.
